Jackson featuring Sparky - This was always a song I’d had in my head for another Emanuela-Sparky collaboration. Originally we’d recorded the basics and I’d planned to put it in the fridge until we get together to record the Emanuela/Sparky mini album (a future project). But a bit of coaxing from our label (It’s not such a good idea to shelve unfinished songs - Buddy Holly had a truckload of songs he wanted to ‹finish sometime later› when he boarded that plane) I decided to include it on this album. We based it on the Nancy and Lee version which actually already has a slight ska feel to it. I decided to build on that and go full on Jamaican. The 7 inch is on Clear Green vinyl !
